Disappointing lousy sound
The event started off well with Foreigner taking the stage, kicking off wonderfully. Their set, although a bit short at 45 minutes, had incredible sound, just like the night before with the Eagles. The problems began when Def Leppard was about to start playing, as all of a sudden the entire sound system suffered a power outage. Their set was delayed about 15 minutes, and when they finally started playing, it was extremely loud and distorted, actually kind of painful. Makari continued with the loud, distorted sound, and whatever broke the system clearly messed up the clarity. The lead singer's lyrics were barely audible. I, along with the crowd, would have loved an encore, but we had to leave the concert early as it was just too painful to continue. I do not fault the bands in any way, but the sound crew should have sorted this out before continuing with the concert.
